Part One of a Three Part Contemporary Erotic Romance Trilogy

What started as an assignment became more than Lily could ever have hoped for

Lily Salomé has encountered more challenges than the average twenty-four year old. After a horrendous crash killed her parents, an abusive relationship was all she needed to turn her broken heart to stone. So when Lily's boss comes to her with a challenge most girls would balk at, she knows there isn't much left in this world to be afraid of.

The target: Jonas Crane. A brooding business mogul who hasn't smiled once since his divorce. Dark, dangerous and mouthwatering, Crane has written a book about life in the fast lane and with the recent publicity, her boss wants the rights.

Problem is, Crane won't return a phone call, let alone agree to a meeting. But if a pretty publishing assistant happens to run into him at the Waldorf, with a business card and a smile...what could go wrong?

A lot, it seems. Lily thinks she's going to meet a rich jerk, or worse, a playboy, but the truth is way more challenging. Jonas Crane is smart, engaging...and devastatingly out of her league.

This Contemporary Erotic Romance series is steamy with explicit sexual scenes, adult themes, and situations. It is intended for mature readers.

I love a good erotic romance and what Amelie S Duncan has done is write a good erotic romance. The sex is hot and the hero, Jonas Crane is even hotter. Everything about Jonas works for me. He's mature, he's sexy, powerful, knows what he wants and super confident.

Lily, on the other hand, is young, inexperienced and very immature. She's also somewhat selfish in that she wants everything she wants but she doesn't understand giving, compromise and sacrifice. She enters into a relationship with Jonas that she does not understand and she finds herself chaffing at the rules that are set out by that relationship. She grates at me many a time, but I forgive her because of her age and immaturity, mostly I forgive her and keep reading because I adore Jonas.

Let me try to describe Jonas to you. He's rich, powerful, a total alpha male who knows what he wants and sets out to get it by any means possible. He's a very take charge kind of guy and I love that in a hero. I read this story entirely because of Jonas and I will keep reading because of him. For some reason, he pushes all the right buttons for me, which makes him super sexy. There are some scenes in the story with Jonas that take my breath away and leave me panting for more. Just more of Jonas.

I'm looking forward to the next few parts of the story to find out how Lily and Jonas' relationship develops.
