A sexy new M/M romance from Entangled’s Brazen imprint…

Chad Lake only showed up at his sister's party for the free food, but when he spots an uptight nerd at the edge of the crowd, he can't resist trying to ruffle the guy's perfect bow tie and impeccable hair. The hottie’s ready for him, though, and in the end, it's Chad who's left wide-eyed, his ears still ringing with the filthy things Bow Tie whispered in his ear. No one gets the upper hand on Chad. Ever.

Owen Hawkins has heard all about the cocky Adonis from Chad’s sister—the same sister who holds Owen’s career advancement in her hands. He has every intention of steering clear of the other man…until Chad's sexy taunts push him too far. There’s something intriguing about Chad, and even though Owen knows that getting tangled up with the infuriating man is trouble, he can’t seem to stay away…

It took me a little while to make the paradigm shift to reading and reviewing MM stories, and I started off slow, first with an MFM and then onto an MMF story, and then another, and then another, all written by Lily Harlem (if you haven't check her out, she's brilliant!) and it's really thanks to Lily I even was in the right mindset to pick up this book to read. I figured if I could handle an MMF by Lily (and her stories are pretty full on), I could handle an MM read.

This is my first ever MM book and I'm very glad I picked Tied to Trouble to be my first. This story is fun, moving and sexy as all get out. Even with an open mind, I had some reservations and I am glad this story did not disappoint.

I enjoyed both Chad and Owen a great deal as characters. I loved how Ms Erickson handled them as people (and very likable people at that!) and did not throw in any stereotypes which may have made me cringe, although, Chad's leather pants came close. :-)

Chad was so much fun. That smirk, that cocky grin, the spontaneity and devil may care attitude. I loved he was unpredictable but he also got serious as his character developed throughout the story. He became more caring, more mature and more responsible but essentially, still Chad.

Owen was so sweet. He was adorable in his nerdiness. But, wow, does he have a potty mouth and I do love a good potty mouth. Who knew behind that bow tie and those glasses, there was such a sexy, sexy guy lurking?

I really enjoyed the lead up to Chad and Owen's reconciliation. The soul searching by both Chad and Owen was well handled, quite insightful, and not overdone. I'm glad it didn't drag.

Finally, I loved how this book was simply about two people who were attracted to each other, and who fell in love, regardless of their gender and their sexual orientation. At the end of it all, this is a love story.

So far, I'm really enjoying this series by Ms Erickson (because I'm a nerd too) and I hope there will be more stories to come. Maybe one for Ethan?
