What Helen Read #17: August 2017

Looks like August was another good month for Helen. I really like the sound of some of the books she's read for August. Aren't all these covers pretty?

Helen got a couple more books read this month than last. Excellent effort, Helen. My August was a bit anemic.

According to Helen, she read some fabulous books in August. There were a lot of new-to-her authors and a lot of variety. She even read outside her comfort zone and read two menage stories with Sapphire by JA Low and Team Player by Cate Ellink which she really enjoyed.

There was a visit to the Australian countryside with The Country Wedding by Barbara Hannay and Secrets At Wongan Creek by Juanita Kees which was a great story set on a cattle station..

New-to-her author Sophie Green provided excellent reading with The Inaugural Meeting Of The Fairvale Ladies Book Club. A heartwarming story of different ladies getting together in a book club and supporting each other through life.

Hayson Manning took Helen on a wonderful journey to the Scottish Highlands in Ten Days With The Highlander.

Long time author Michelle Douglas published her first sheikh book with Sarah And The Secret Sheikh and that put a smile on Helen's face.

More smiles with Tempted By The Wrong Twin by Rachel Bailey in a story with a fabulous dog called Frank.

Helen's really traveled the world this month with a trip to Italy with Annie West's At The Italian's Bidding.

There were also some great Harlequin Medicals with Annie O'Neil and Susan Carlisle. And Jackie Ashenden provices another hot and steamy instalment in her series with TThe Billionaire's Intern.

Liz Fielding, of course, is always a favorite and a fantastic read with Trouble In Paradise, a re-issue of an older book.

And finally, Secret Shores by Ella Carey is compelling and moving.

Well, here's what Helen read. What do you think? Did you read any of the same books? What did you read this month? Tell us below.
